Vintage detailing remains a firm favourite

No one can deny the unending popularity of yesteryear styling. Vintage is still the big thing and shoe designers are one step ahead

London-based designer Harriet Wilde is a bridal shoe expert who draws her inspiration from vintage style. Her luxurious shoes are beautifully handcrafted in Europe, using the finest quality Italian silk satin, soft kid suede and soft leather lining; especially charming is that each shoe carries a personal message on the leather sole. The styles are adorned with exquisite trims that are handmade here in the UK – expect to find net and tulle corsages, vintage brooches, feathers, and bows, as well as shimmer-shine Swarovski crystal highlights. Shoes can be customised to order, which means that you can offer your brides the option of mixing styles and trims. You can see the new collection at Harrogate, 14-16 March.
